Air Tattoo Live Broadcast Trailer
Operating under the banner Air Tattoo Live, volunteer broadcasters needed a broadcast studio onsite to communicate to the huge crowd via the airfield’s extensive PA system. A second radio team would be broadcasting concurrently on 87.7FM throughout the day to people travelling to and from the event.
We transformed our expandable trailer into a radio station for organisers of Europe’s largest airshow – the Royal International Air Tattoo.
The presenters used half the trailer as a formal studio, which had a huge glass window overlooking the show, while additional presenters and producers used the rest of the trailer, set out as working pods.
This provided an incredibly cost effective, sound-proofed solution, ensuring presenters could broadcast uninterrupted on the airwaves all weekend.
